    **Part 1: WACC Calculation**

Using concepts learned during the class, estimate the weighted average cost of capital (WACC) for your company. The process involves several key steps:

    1. **Cost of Equity Calculation using CAPM Model**:

    – Estimate beta for your company using regression analysis. Estimate beta using daily prices for past one year, weekly prices for the past two years, and monthly prices using the past five years. Do you get different beta using three approaches? Why? Which beta is the most appropriate beta for your company? Explain your reasoning in the excel document itself.
    – Estimate the cost of equity by employing the Capital Asset Pricing Model (CAPM), factoring in your company's appropriate beta. Utilize an appropriate risk-free rate and a market risk premium of 6% for your calculation.
    2. **Cost of Debt Estimation**:

    – Estimate the appropriate cost of debt for your company. You can use different approaches to estimate cost of debt.
    – Credit rating and Yield-spreads.
    – If credit rating is missing, find rating of firms in the same industry and similar size.
    – Adjust for expectations of changes in the future interest rates based on your economic analysis.
    – Explain your analysis in the excel document.
    3. **Capital Structure Weight Calculation**:

    – Determine the capital structure weights of equity and debt based on the current market values of equity and debt. This involves calculating the proportion of total capital represented by equity and debt.

By meticulously completing these steps, you'll arrive at a comprehensive understanding of your company's WACC, a vital metric used in investment decision-making and capital budgeting.

    **Part II: Pro-forma statements**

Select the appropriate explicit forecast period for your company, ensuring it spans a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 10 years. Utilize this chosen forecast period to estimate pro forma income statements and balance sheets for your company for the upcoming 5 to 10 years.

**Part III: Free cash flow estimation and discounted cash flow valuation**

As discussed in class, estimate free cash flow to firm and free cash flow to equity for your company. Using WACC estimates in part-I, estimate fair value of stock using discounted cash flow methodology. Which of the two approaches (FCFE vs FCF) is suitable for your firm? why?

**Deliverable**: Submit an Excel spreadsheet containing all pertinent details. Format the spreadsheet to enhance clarity and ease of understanding. Explicitly state the basic assumptions underlying your estimates for transparency and coherence. Use your excel to explicitly state your major assumptions and rationale for these assumptions.

This is the assignement given to me. I have completed the first section and a bit of the second section and I want to complete the last section. The company I that I am working on is Oracle Corp for this assignment. I have attached my file and want someone to complete the second section that is pro- forma statements and free cashflow estimation.

    Assignment Prompt & Instructions

    **Case Scenario**

Holyfield Healthcare Systems and Jonesville Regional Hospital, each with different organizational structures, are merging. The senior leadership, of which you are a part, must decide on the overarching organizational structure that will be used for the newly formed healthcare system. This will impact the distribution of power, which includes lines of authority, chain of command, and how operations will be carried out. Before the new structure can be adopted, a thorough exploration of the two existing structures, with attention paid to how power is distributed and wielded, must occur. In addition, leadership styles and their impact on power management within each organization will be explored.

**Overview of Organizational Power:** For this , you will begin by providing an overview of the types of organizational power, how power affects the health of an organization, and the impact of power on the work environment.

**Organizational Structures and Power:** From the four major organizational structures, Line, Matrix, Service-Line, and Flat, you will identify which one is currently used at each of the two healthcare systems (Holyfield and Jonesville). Then you will compare the characteristics of the **two organizational structures***. The comparison will include a description of how power is distributed, managed, and wielded within each of the organizational structures. Then you will select one of the two structures to use in the newly merged system and provide a substantive, evidence-based rationale for your choice. ***Shared governance and the Magnet Model are not considered organizational structures for this.**

**Leadership Styles and Power:** Of the five major **leadership styles****; authoritarian, democratic, laissez-faire, situational/contingency, and interactional; choose one used at each of the existing healthcare systems (Holyfield and Jonesville) and describe its characteristics. You will discuss how each leadership style is supported by the organizational structure chosen earlier for that system. As part of the discussion, you will include how power is distributed, managed, and wielded by each style. Finally, you will discuss your preference for the leadership style that is supported by your chosen organizational structure and provide an evidence-based rationale for your choice. ****Transformational and transactional leadership are broad types of leadership within which several of the styles fit. Your focus is to be on the styles, not the two broad types.** Use the following format outline/template for your paper to complete your assignment. Bold-type is used here for emphasis only. Follow the guidelines for use of bold-type and headings using the most current edition of the APA manual.

    – **Introduction (no heading)**
    – Statement of paper’s purpose
    – Identify the chosen setting and the framework you will apply to it
    – **Overview of Power within Organizations (heading, centered)**

    – Types of organizational power
    – Impact of power on the health of the organization
    – Impact of power on the work environment
    – **Organizational Structure and Power (heading, centered)**

    – Describe at least two specific examples with expected outcomes of the framework’s impact on nursing
    – **Engagement of staff and leadership (centered, with heading)**
    – Identify, compare, and contrast two organizational structures of the scenario facilities
    – Describe how power in distributed, managed and wielded within each structure
    – Preferred organizational structure (of the two) for a merged system with evidence-based rationale
    – **Leadership Styles and Power (heading, centered)**
    – Compare two leadership styles supported by and used within the structures of the scenario facilities
    – How is power distributed, managed, and wielded by the two leadership styles within the preferred structure described
    – Preferred leadership style (of the two) for the merged system with evidence-based rationale
    – **Conclusion (centered, with heading)**
    – Recap of paper’s purpose
    – Summary of what was covered

    1. A minimum of three (3) scholarly sources, no older than 5 years, must be used for the paper. These should be relevant to nursing and should represent the majority of evidence provided in the paper. Other sources, such as textbooks, may be used in addition to these; however, they will not be counted as part of the scholarly source requirement.
    2. The paper should contain all elements required under the guidelines and provided by the outline.
    3. The outline provided should be followed for organizing the paper. Only level-one headings are required. Remember, the introduction does not have a heading.
    4. A maximum of four (4) pages, excluding title and reference pages, is required.
    5. Microsoft (MS) Word is required for completing the assignment . The paper should be written in the third person, in active voice. Refer to “Guidelines for Writing Professional Papers in Graduate Programs” found in the Student Resources Central of the course.

My chosen condition is HIV and Mental Health

This discussion represents the second step in a three-step discussion series where you will choose your pathophysiology adventure to analyze and present to the class. Students will continue to explore the disease process that was chosen in Week 2. In this step of the discussion series, you will describe the pathophysiology of your chosen condition from Week 2 and its manifestations, diagnosis, and lifespan considerations. You will also create your case study.

    1. Describe the pathophysiology of the chosen condition. What is the condition’s etiology, signs and symptoms, complications, and risk factors?
    2. Discuss how the condition is diagnosed. What are relevant assessment findings, labs, and imaging studies?
    3. Explain how the pathophysiology of the condition might differ across the lifespan. Does the condition manifest in pediatric, pregnant, breastfeeding, and older adult populations? How might the condition look different across the lifespan?
    4. Create your case study based on the chosen condition (~ 1,000 words or less using bullet points and full sentences). Start with the diagnosis and work backward to develop a clinical scenario that leads to this diagnosis. MUST BE ORGINIAL WORK. Initial post – 3 paragraphs (must have 2 scholarly sources) AND one peer response (at least 1 scholarly source). Please refer to previous assignment (staff education). Culture – Chinese

    **Initial post**

**Step 1**: For this Discussion, you will build on the Week 4 Staff Education assignment by further exploring the cultural group you selected for that assignment. Review the information gathered on your selected cultural group in preparation for your Week 4 Staff Education assignment. Consider that group's unique traditional beliefs and practices surrounding pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting.

**Step 3**: Answer the discussion prompts below with explanation and detail.

    ·
**Paragraph one:** Describe how your selected cultural group's unique traditional beliefs and practices impact how you provide nursing care to clients and families
**during the ante-, intra-, and postpartum periods**.

    · How can those cultural beliefs influence a client’s willingness to accept medical treatment?

    · What conflicts may occur between traditional practices and prescribed care?

    ·
**Paragraph two:** Describe how your selected cultural group's traditional beliefs and practices influence
    **parenting and caregiving responsibilities**.

    · How might those cultural beliefs influence a client’s interactions with the medical team or acceptance of medical treatment for themselves or a family member?

    · What conflicts may arise between caregiving expectations and prescribed care?

    ·
**Paragraph three:** Reflect on how you may interact with clients and families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting in your area of clinical practice.

    · How might you adjust your practice to respect your selected cultural group's beliefs and practices?

**References:** Provide complete references for all citations.

    **Respond to peer**

KH: “During pregnancy, women limited their activities and paid attention to their diet and behavior to protect their babies (Teachinghistory.org, n.d.). For instance, the Cherokees believed some foods could harm the fetus, so pregnant women avoided these foods to prevent unwanted physical traits (Teachinghistory.org, n.d.). The Parents would take part in rituals to prepare for a safe delivery. These rituals include washing their hands and feet and asking medicine men to perform special rites (Teachinghistory.org, n.d.). Women would never give birth lying down and typically, no one caught the baby, who fell onto leaves placed underneath (Teachinghistory.org, n.d.). After the birth, mothers would gently place the baby in the river as part of a ritual they repeated every day for two years (Teachinghistory.org, n.d.). They believed this practice helped children grow strong, resulting in very few cases of rickets or deformities (Teachinghistory.org, n.d.). These cultural beliefs may influence the client’s willingness to accept medical treatment. However, Native Americans often use traditional healing along with modern medicine to improve health (Koithan & Farrell, 2010). They incorporate ceremonies and herbal remedies alongside regular medications (Koithan & Farrell, 2010). Spiritual treatments are a crucial part of their health and healing practices (Koithan & Farrell, 2010). Some conflicts may occur between traditional practices and prescribed care, especially when their traditional practices aren’t incorporated with prescribed care. Many Native Americans prefer the combination between traditional and modern medicine (Reese et al., 2024). In the early 20th century, the United States implemented policies aimed at reducing maternal and infant mortality, which required Native American women to deliver their babies in distant healthcare facilities (Reese et al., 2024). This led many women to face dangerous situations while traveling and discouraged them from using midwives and traditional practices (Reese et al., 2024).  However, some women continued to resist and practice their traditions (Reese et al., 2024).

Traditionally, Native American parents guided their children through storytelling to help them discover their identity and purpose (McKinley et al., 2021). In their culture, caregivers are seen as "keepers" of unique individuals, each supported by the community (McKinley et al., 2021).  Despite efforts to undermine their parent-child relationships, Native American families have demonstrated resilience by preserving traditional parenting practices and beliefs (McKinley et al., 2021). Cultural beliefs can significantly influence how a client interacts with the medical team and their acceptance of medical treatment for themselves or their family members. Conflicts can arise in healthcare settings when providers lack familiarity with, or hold biases against, Native American traditional practices. However, if a combination of traditional and modern medicine is utilized, I believe that conflicts are less likely to arise. Involving traditional practices in the healthcare plan can help the family feel more comfortable accepting treatment and trusting the healthcare team with their care.

In the burn unit, my interactions with Native American patients and their families throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting will always be guided by empathy and understanding. I prioritize respect and compassion, which are essential in building trust with the patients and their families. This approach allows for a supportive environment and an understanding of their diverse culture. Showing empathy also allows me to provide patient-centered care that addresses not only their medical needs but also their cultural needs. I would also coordinate my care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams and traditional healers to ensure holistic and culturally competent care. When caring for pediatric patients, I would ensure that parents are actively involved in their child’s care, while also incorporating their cultural beliefs into the plan of care.”
