**LAB: Accessing TrixBox Server & Resetting to Defaults**

    1) Access the TrixBox server via IP address 192.168.1.3/24 with 192.168.2.100 as the gateway.

_Note:_ _Internet Explorer encounters problems connecting to the TrixBox server, Mozilla Firefox should be used. IP address may need to be configured manually in the Network Connections settings of Windows to allow proper connectivity._

    2) The TrixBox User GUI should appear. At the top right **User mode – switch** should appear. Click **switch**.

    3) Enter the username ‘maint,’ and password ‘password.’

    4) You are now in _maintenance mod_ e and can manually set certain features back to defaults.

    5) Click on the **PBX** tab and select **PBX Settings**.

    ![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    6) On the left side list, under **Basic**, select **Extensions**.

    7) Now, if extensions have been created, they should appear on the right side, (ie: Jane Doe, John Smith, etc).

    ![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    8) Once clicked on, their details should appear. Select **Delete Extension ####** which is at the top of the page.

    ![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    9) Repeat step 8 for all extensions.

    10) System recordings will need to be deleted. Select System Recordings on the left side list, (at the bottom). Delete all but the highlighted recordings in the picture below, (similar to deleting extensions).

    ![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    11) After all extensions have been deleted and all settings have been changed, click **Apply Configuration Settings** at the top.

    ![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    12) X-Lite 4 soft phones will not need to be reset to defaults since they are installed in a Deep Freeze environment and automatically get reset when computers are restarted.

    13) To reset the hard phones, simply select the **menu** button, **config**, and find **factory reset**.

    14) The TrixBox server, soft phones, and hard phones should now be set to nearest defaults.

YOU SHOULD NOT have to complete these last steps. In the case were somebody does something that they should not have done or if some natural disaster strikes then these step will be necessary.

    1) If there is a power failure or the router is unplugged, log into the router via console and use the command:  _copy startup-config running-config_

    2) The trixbox server is the means through which all of the phones can communicate and store their information. The trixbox version is 2.8.0.3 and is installed on the Dell Power Edge 1750 server. If, for some reason, the trixbox server becomes unusable or corrupted it will then need to be reinstalled. The Trixbox CD is provided and the steps to restore the system are as follows.

    1. Make sure that the server is set up to boot from disk.

    2. Set the burned disk inside the CD-ROM drive and reboot the server.

    3. You should see the following screen. Press enter when you are ready and remember that it will format the whole drive. ![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    4. Next, you should choose your keyboard type which should be ‘us’![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    5. Next, select your appropriate time zone which should be central time. ![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    6. Next, set the root password.

    ![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    7. Now the installation process will start. When the installation is complete the computer should restart. Please note that you will have to take out the disk when the computer restart or else it will take you back to the beginning of the installation process.

    8. After you log in with the password that you created, you need to then enable the interfaces. First you need to run the #system-config-network command and add the following information on both interfaces. ![](https://www.sweetstudy.com/questions/net-364-lab-3)

    9. Now everything should be back to its original defaults.

    1. What is your topic?

My topic will focus on Transcranial Magnetic stimulation.

    2. What is your reason for choosing this topic?

I chose TMS as my topic because I am currently a TMS coordinator. TMS

holds a special place in my heart because it helps treat clients with

depression but everyone client has different experiences. Being a TMS

coordinator prepared me by working more hands on with my very own

clients and gave me an idea how to handle a caseload once I become an

    LPC.

    3. Which Career theory are you using as a model?

    Trait-Factor Theory (John Holland)

    4. How will this project benefit you?

This project will benefit me because there are several different variations of

TMS. I’m not too familiar with them all however, I will use this project to

learn more and implement my learning in my real-life career.

    5. What do you expect to learn?

I expect to learn more in depth about the different variations of TMS how

they work differently from the variation I’m familiar with.

    Module 4: Reading Response

In addition to completing a collaborative annotation, each student will complete an individual reading response. This response is intended to be “semi-formal” in nature. On one hand, it should be polished, clearly written, and should include in-text citations that demonstrate you have carefully read the assigned reading. On the other hand, the reading response is not intended for you to provide me with a summary of the assigned reading.

The purpose of the reading response is to allow you to wrestle with the course material and ask questions about your understanding, your interpretation, and your disagreements with it. I also want the reflections to be a useful tool you can refer to in constructing your final paper, so each response will ask you to think about the key ideas from the assigned reading that you might later use in your final paper.

I want to be clear that this assignment is not my way of testing whether you walked away with the “correct” understanding of a reading, but it is instead a way of me gauging your process of understanding.
**Reading responses are therefore graded for completion, but not for “accuracy” though I will provide feedback as part of our ongoing dialogue.**

Your response should be no fewer than 600 words (but can be longer), distributed in the following three sections.
**Please make sure to include the following subheadings that clearly define each of the parts of your reflection, so I know which part is which**.

    ·
**Summary (200+ words).** First, summarize the main themes of the readings. I am not asking you here to spend time reproducing each article individually, but to give an integrated summary of the main ideas. So, for example, if we are engaging different authors’ perspectives on the process of eminent critique you would focus on providing an overall vision of eminent critique informed by everyone we read, rather than arranging your summary by author.

    ·
**Critical analysis (200+ words).** Second, I want to you provide a critical analysis of the readings. This is where you are going to carefully consider what was beneficial, useful, and helpful in the readings, and what concerns or differences of opinion you might have. Please do NOT speak in vague terms but stay very close to the text. This means, for example, you should provide quotes or paraphrase authors with citations that show you understood what they said. Two things to remember: authors are neither all good nor all bad. A careful reader will find some value and some problems in just about everyone. Second, you don’t have to respond to everything in the text. Just select aspects of the reading that stood out to you.

    ·
**Reflection (200+ words).** In this final section I want to you to think about how what you read might be useful for your final paper. Remember that the final paper for the class will ask you to select a “problem of practice” (something from your personal leadership context), to provide a critical analysis of the problem using insights from our readings, and to develop a potential solution to the problem from a critical lens. In this final reflection, you should start to identify how what you learned might be useful for this final paper. This space should be used, in other words, for you to start to reflect on what ideas in our readings might be of value to your final paper and why those things are important.

    Assignment Prompt & Instructions

Social learning theory and cognitive development theory have valid criticisms when applied to gender development. However, when viewed together, they do a fairly good job of describing how gender develops in children.  Studying and reviewing these two theories for your assignment this week will help you prepare for your signature assignment, where you will discuss nature and nurture influences of gender development.

    **Instructions**

Create content suitable for a blog where you explore distinct stages of gender development in relation to two major theories: Social learning theory and cognitive developmental theory.

You should create an engaging narrative to educate a vast population of readers. Use easy-to-understand language while ensuring that any facts and definitions are covered by sound science (include citations!). If appropriate, blog content should include pictures, graphs, and images, and you could include video links if desired.

Length: This assignment should be 3-4 pages, excluding the title and reference pages.

References: Include a minimum of three scholarly resources.

The completed assignment should address all assignment requirements, exhibit evidence of concept knowledge, and demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the content presented in the course. The writing should integrate scholarly resources, reflect academic expectations and current APA 7th edition standards.
